This is my first time buying a home, and the closing date has been set for 9/21. I want to know when I should hear something about whether I am approved for the loan or not. I am anxious and can’t sleep due to worrying about it. I have signed all the papers for the loan, and gave the loan officer the insurance company info for the homeowners insurance, and I have the home picked out and the owner and I have agreed on a price. All I am waiting for is approval.
So…how long does it usually take to get approved? (I don’t know if it matters, but it’s an FHA loan)

We plan to divorce soon. Is there a way to stop him getting the loan? He is applying the loan behind my back. If approved, he will get all the money which will results in big difference in divorce property division.

The other day I applied for a small auto loan through Navy Fed. They replied saying that its pending now and they want a copy of the title to make sure its value it worth the loan. I am going to send it later today. I’ve already checked, and the car is worth the loan. Does this pretty much mean it will be approved?

I have no heard anything from them at all. I thought I would had heard from them by now. it is Wednesday. Does this mean I wasn’t approved?
They said a response would be sent via email within a couple of hours of business hours.

they were in collections. One was an old old bank account that was in collections that i didnt know about and i paid it off… the other was stupid direct tv and that is paid… the other was a medical bill that is all set….

Does anyone have experience with discharging a student loan due to permanent disability after receiving the loans? I am in process of tying to have my loans discharged but am wondering if I am just wasting my time with the Department of Education. Is it possible to really do this? I’m looking for personal experiences, not websites. Thank you.
I do have a permanent disability and is verified by doctors. Also, I am on social security disability for this disability.

I paid off my entire defaulted student loan at the beginning of this month. I even received a paid in full letter. But today I just got a letter from the IRS that my $600 was applied to that loan by offset!! Apparently there wasn’t enough time between when I paid off the loan and then getting my rebate. I just tried to call the Missouri Department of Education, which my loan is through, but they are closed for the day. Does anyone know if I can get my $600 back???

Is there a certain day that banks add interest to mortgage loans? I am currently have a mortgage loan with Chase Bank.
