I filed for bankruptcy a year and a half ago due. I am current on my bills. I make about $65k a year. I filled out an application with Countrywide 2 weeks ago and never heard back. I have left the loan officer several messages. I’m guessing it was denied but i never recieved any type of notification. I only have about a 5% downpayment. Is it still possible to get qualified for a loan with less than perfect credit?

We just settled on our house last week and would like to do some repairs on the house. We don’t have the cash, but would like to take out a home equity loan, but weren’t sure if there was a “grace period” or something similar before you can do that.

Is There Any Help For Our Home Loan?

We are not one of the people who are behind on our home mortgage payments. However, with the new stimulus package that has passed I was wondering if there will be any way for me to get my home mortgage rate lowered. We are at a 7.25% rate. It is not an adjustable rate! We have heard now that part of this stimulus package that went into effect will now allow us to get our home loan at it’s appraised rate & lower our payments. Where can I look for these rates at so we can get our house payments lowered? Thanks for your help!

I have extremely bad credit (trying to rebuild it but it will take some time) and no down payment but a great job history and excellent referrences. I’m not talking a loan for a mansion, I am thinking even something more like a mobile or modular home.

Is there a way to assume a car loan?

I wish to assume my daughter’s car loan instead of paying it off and applying for a new loan. The bank won’t do this. Does anyone know if this can be done?
If I leave as is & pay her loan the vehicle must stay on her insurance. I can’t transfer to my insurance.
